Record Month for SRC Electrical

SRC Electrical is proud to share that August 2017 was a RECORD month in both units produced and units shipped! Our team is producing the most materials in the history of SRC Electrical, running the highest amount of hours in the plant and setting goals for the future that are even more challenging. In order to deliver, we have to create efficiencies, change habits and realign our priorities. At SRC Electrical we do this by creating mini-games. Mini-games are designed to meet the objectives the plant has set while adding a scoreboard to create visibility, creativity to let the team help generate the goal, and a reward to keep motivation throughout the challenge! The "Bowling for Our Sake" and "Get the Trucks Out" mini-games accomplished just that! Want to learn how to implement mini-games successfully in your business? Wealth & Wellness 2017

Wealth & Wellness 2017

The SRC subsidiaries and joint ventures held a Wealth and Wellness event on June 24th at its Sunshine Street location.  The event focused on family fun, philanthropy, and our future as employee-owners.

Employees and their families were invited to participate in games on the lawn, such as bubble ball, basketball, bounce houses, and other activities for children.  Local wellness-based vendors and SRC subsidiaries and joint ventures were also in attendance to showcase services offered and activities for guests.

The employees of SRC and its joint ventures always look for ways to make an impact within the community with the help of its employees.  Therefore, the group created a contest to raise money for charity in conjunction with the Wealth and Wellness event.  From May 1 through June 24th, each company voted on a cause for which to raise money.  The companies then held independent raffles, lunches, and other contests in order to raise funds for their given cause. As an enterprise, the employees were able to raise $17,200 for area charities.

Below is a list of charities which benefited from the contest.

In the midst of family fun and philanthropy, the SRC employee-owners also looked at the future of their employee stock ownership plan (ESOP) during the 2017 Shareholders' meeting, which was also held on the lawn at the Sunshine building.  Employees learned about the current state of the company, a five year outlook, and the new stock price.

About the ESOP | SRC believes in sharing the wealth with those who helped create it.  In fact, its ESOP is at no cost to the employee.  In its history, SRC has paid out over $100M to associates leaving the company.

SRC Open House for Ozarks Food Harvest

Friday, October 7, 2016

(Springfield, MO) SRC Holdings Corporation is excited to announce its open house event at the former Regal-Beloit building slated for Wednesday, October 12.  “Open House for Harvest” will run from 4:30p to 6:30pm at the newly-renovated building at 2401 East Sunshine and feature a tour, cookout and an opportunity to donate to the Ozarks Food Harvest.

“There has been a tremendous amount of curiosity and questions about the facility by former employees, business leaders and the general public,” Dick Moger, Executive Vice President for SRC Holdings Corporation said.  “One individual who worked in the facility for 33 years was excited that manufacturing jobs were being created and not eliminated.  There has been so much interest about the facility that SRC has decided to host an open house.”

In conjunction with this event, the SRC Community Relations Committee will host their annual community food and fund drive benefiting the regional food bank, Ozarks Food Harvest.   The public is encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to gain admittance to this event.

Food collected through the food drive will be distributed by the Ozarks Food Harvest to 250 nonprofit charities across 28 southwest Missouri counties, reaching 20,000 individuals weekly.  For every dollar donated, the Food bank provides $10 worth of food distribution and services.

Most needed food items include canned meat and tuna, peanut butter, canned fruits and vegetables, soups and boxed meals. Paper products and personal hygiene items, such as paper towels and toilet paper, are also accepted.  All donations should be in undamaged and unexpired packages.  No glass containers are accepted.  A complete listing of needed items can be found at OzarksFoodHarvest.org/FoodDrive.

A cookout, complete with hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and a drink, will follow the tour to say “thank you” for participating in this annual drive to transform hunger into hope.

SRC Holdings Latest Property Purchase Hopes to Bring Jobs to Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Southwest Missouri Investments, a subsidiary of Springfield based SRC Holdings Corporation, purchased the old Regal-Beloit building at 2401 East Sunshine.

According to Jack Stack, CEO of SRC Holdings, “Acquisition of this property enables SRC to expand its local operations and provide high quality manufacturing jobs in Springfield and Southwest Missouri.”

The main building on the 40+ acre parcel contains approximately 325,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space and is accessible from Sunshine Street or by rail through an on-site rail spur.

The Regal Beloit closed last December after restructuring, leaving 300 employees without a job. SRC currently employs 1,600 people in Springfield and Southwest Missouri.

With this acquisition, SRC suspended its development of 70 acres of land it owns on Mulroy Road.  Today’s acquisition of the Sunshine property enables SRC to meet the current and projected needs of its employees and customers in a timely and economic manner.
